The Jazz again will play without Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver and Jarron Collins when they face the Chicago Bulls on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
Korver was headed Monday morning for a second MRI exam on his sprained right wrist, which he aggravated last week, while Collins was to see a doctor for a third opinion on his injured right elbow. Boozer remains out with a strained left quadriceps tendon, though he was said to be improving and will be listed as day-to-day going forward. Williams, meanwhile, said he is still targeting Wednesday's game against Memphis for his return.
Williams originally suffered a sprained left ankle against the Bulls in an Oct. 18 preseason game. He will practice Tuesday before making a final decision about returning.
Jazz coach Jerry Sloan has told reporters Williams should not return unless he is 100 percent, but Williams said he is about as close to it as he's going to be.
"I wouldn't say I'm 100 percent," Williams said. "Doc told me I'm not going to be 100 percent for a while, if [not] the whole season."
Williams estimated he was around 85 to 90 percent healthy now. He added of his premature return for two games earlier this month: "I think I [overestimated] my percentage back then."
Sloan said he would go with the same starting five that he used in Saturday's victory at Memphis, with Paul Millsap starting in place of Boozer.
