Chicago Bulls Roster Report 2009-11-19

Chicago Bulls Roster Report 2009-11-19ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Derrick Rose, Shooting guard John Salmons, Small forward Luol Deng, Power forward Taj Gibson, Center Joakim Noah. Bench -- Guard Kirk Hinrich, Guard Jannero Pargo, Guard Lindsey Hunter, Forward James Johnson, Center Brad Miller.

--G Jannero Pargo didn't play in Saturday's victory over Philadelphia. He got some early court time Tuesday in Sacramento and took full advantage. Pargo scored 10 points in four possessions and finished with 12 points in the win over the Kings.

--G Derrick Rose continued his sluggish start to the season, hitting just 2-of-12 shots in Tuesday's win at Sacramento. Rose couldn't get his jumper to fall against the Kings but did drive to the basket a couple of times. He finished with 10 points and seven assists.

--C Aaron Gray was hospitalized last weekend because of cellulitis, a type of skin infection, in his right knee. Gray had to scrap plans to travel on the West Coast trip but may catch up with the team for the second half of the road trek.

--F Tyrus Thomas (broken left arm) is expected to be out until early December after breaking the radius in his left forearm. This was a freak accident that occurred while Thomas did a pull-up during a weightlifting session. A metal plate was used to repair the break during surgery Nov. 7.

--C Aaron Gray (stress fracture in left fibula) was injured early in training camp and may be ready to resume practice toward the end of the trip. The third-year pro was re-signed to provide depth at the center position but wasn't expected to play much.

--C Jerome James (torn right Achilles) hasn't played since early last season when he was with the Knicks. No one is counting any contributions from him, but he's vowed to get healthy and play sometime this season. He's starting to run again, but needs to pass a fitness test before he'll be allowed to practice.
