Chicago Bulls Notes, Quotes 2009-11-28

Chicago Bulls Notes, Quotes 2009-11-28--C Joakim Noah finished up a tough week by failing to reach double-figure rebounds for the third straight game. Before that, he'd pulled down at least 10 boards in 10 of the first 11 games. He might not be playing his best, but Noah isn't getting much help from his teammates, either. The Bulls were outrebounded 47-27 by Portland on Monday and were beaten 62-42 by Utah in points in the paint. "I feel like I've been getting overpowered the last couple of games," Noah said. "Guys have just been putting their bodies on me, and it's taken a toll on me. I've got to find a way to sustain."

--Even though the Bulls have looked bad during most of the circus road trip, general manager Gar Forman realizes the team faced a tough early schedule. "When you've emphasized defense like we've emphasized it, it's not unusual for your offense to be behind your defense, and I think we've seen some of that," Forman said. "We said going into the year we wanted to have a defensive base to us and wanted to be better defensively, and I think up to this point we've accomplished that -- even though we've hit a bump in the road here the last couple of games against very good teams."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We're not communicating and we are letting people do whatever." -- Guard Derrick Rose after the Bulls suffered their fourth straight ugly loss Thursday in Utah.
