Chicago Bulls Notes, Quotes 2009-11-21

Chicago Bulls Notes, Quotes 2009-11-21--G Derrick Rose, after hitting just 2 of 12 shots in Tuesday's win at Sacramento, was feeling the frustration of his slow start this season. He missed nearly all of preseason with a right ankle injury and hasn't been able to get rolling the way he did as a rookie. So Wednesday he vowed not to cut his hair until he plays more like his old self. "I'm not touching my hair until I get back on track," Rose said. "I'm just trying to change something; there has to be something that I'm doing wrong. I'm not going to the hole the way I used to. It seems like, to me, I'm not that aggressive. But it's going to change. I know that I'm going to have to be aggressive from now on." Rose had a tough start Thursday against the Lakers, hitting just 2 of 11 shots before halftime, but had a much better second half and finished with 20 points.

--Rose mentioned recently that he dreamed of being a movie star and had a preference for comedies. Before the Bulls played in Los Angeles, he talked about how much he has enjoyed spending the past two summers in L.A. "It's great playing out here," Rose said. "Besides Chicago, I like to play out here all the time. You've got great weather. If you want to do something you can go eat anywhere. Shop anywhere. Get rest. People really don't care who you are out here because you have some people that are bigger than you. So they don't really care about who you are. They just let you be."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "I felt like it gave me confidence. Just seeing the intensity they brought into the weight room was a little different than what a basketball player would bring to the weight room. It was good to be around different people and just understanding you have to bring a certain intensity to the weight room to get results." -- Center Joakim Noah on spending part of his summer working out at the famous Gold's Gym on Venice Beach.
