--While Friday's loss to Atlanta dropped the Bulls four games back in the race for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, coach Jim Boylan does not plan to alter the playing rotation and give younger players more minutes. He also expects his players to give a complete effort through the end of the regular season. "Whether we're in it or out of it doesn't really matter," Boylan said. "We're paid to do this. That's our job. We should do it well. You have to come to work each day, you have to punch the clock. You're getting your paycheck, so you have to play it all the way through." --The Bulls have a new routine for the game's opening tip. Center Joakim Noah began vying for the jump ball once Ben Wallace left in a trade for Cleveland, but Drew Gooden has taken over the job for the past seven game. "It's his rookie year and I know a lot of guys are more advanced at the jump ball than he is right now," Gooden said. "I was trying to give him some pointers before one game, right before New Orleans. And he told me, 'Well, why don't you just jump right now and show me.' So then I won the tip against Tyson (Chandler) and he said, 'You're going to jump the rest of the year.'" QUOTE TO NOTE: "Playing 30-plus minutes is where I want to be. That gives me time to get comfortable. It's been a little different sitting out some fourth quarters and coming in and out of the game. Obviously, everyone wants to be out there. We just have to find a formula that's best for this team to win." -- Guard Larry Hughes, who broke out of a recent shooting slump to score a team-high 19 points in Saturday's win over Milwaukee.
