--Shy and quiet by nature, Bulls guard Derrick Rose is ready to get loud and emotional on the basketball court if it means the Bulls having the same kind of success as the Boston Celtics. During a brutal loss to the defending champs on Friday, Rose said he took in a lesson on being vocal.
"I've just got to be emotional out there," Rose said. "(Boston) was an emotional team. They talk to each other. There wasn't one time on the court when they weren't talking to each other. They were having fun." --The Bulls-Grizzlies clash featured the first matchup between high-profile rookies this season when Bulls guard Derrick Rose met Grizzlies shooting guard O.J. Mayo. Both players did well, with Rose outscoring Mayo 26-16. But the Chicago native showed little interest in following the Rookie of the Year race. "I could care less what they're doing," he said. "I'm just trying to win and focus on the Bulls."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We cannot get into a consistent rhythm. We will get a flow going and then stop moving the ball and get stagnant offensively. The ball stays on one side of the court. We have to do a better job of moving it to the weak side." -- Coach Vinny Del Negro, on the Bulls' inconsistent offense.
